Jane J. Kinney
November 18, 1940 – July 26, 2025

In Loving Memory

Jane was born in Springfield, Ohio on November 18, 1940 and passed peacefully on July 26, 2025 at the Sacred Heart Senior Center, Lake Forest, CA. Jane was 84 years old, the daughter of Justus Karl and Doris Brain Ihrig of Springfield, and a member of Geneva Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, P. Michael Kinney, 3 sons, Scott, Nate and Rodney, grandchildren Sean, Aidan, Shannon; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Her sister Judy’s husband Ralph Johnston and their children, Steve, Joe, Jan of Grove City, Ohio.

Jane graduated from Springfield High School, attended Capital University, transferred to Purdue and graduated from Purdue University. Got her internship at Mass General in Boston and became the Dietitian for the Veteran Hospital in Buffalo, NY. After a few short years she became a full time home maker.

Jane was a wonderful wife, a great Mother and Grandmother; and she will be missed greatly and never forgotten.

Her service was held at O’Connor Mortuary in July, 2025, with all of her immediate family in attendance.
