But we became instant friends and stayed in touch. We went to lunch and walked the trails in San Clemente. Jane was such a wonderful person! She talked about her family so much. She was so proud of each of her four kids and loved all of you and her husband so much! I know Jane herself would be devastated leaving you all behind. I’m so sorry for your loss. Jane was a kind soul and she was loved and will be missed greatly. RIP Jane. I will miss you. Reply Lisa Wenzel says: September 1, 2015 Here are some quotes from Jane Yagi that have sustained me for years: *1980: “May all your dreams come true.” *1979: “Be happy.” *1978: “Don’t let the little things get to you.” *1977: “You are a constant giggle box.” * Source: Handwritten notes from my Fountain Valley High School yearbooks; Jane and I attended all four years together. To Travis, Lauren, Jenna and Amber: you are your mom’s crowning glory. Her pride in you shines through every correspondence we’ve ever had since you began. To Dane and the Yagi family: As you can see from the “Jane quotes,” she was already her own person, even at a young age. She dispensed such sage advice and hope, mixed with ever-present humor. I’m a better person for having known Jane. She and you are in my heart. Always.
