James L. Simmons passed away on January, 3, 2022 at his home in Mission Viejo, California at the age of 82.  James is survived by three children, Jeff (Lauren), Kirk and Mike (Cheryl), his sister Helen Ann Rhodes, brother-in-law George (Vernell) Walters and four beloved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Anna Belle (Walters) Simmons, his brother Charles, and sister Kathleen Dettorre.

A small graveside service will be held on January 18, 2022 at 10:00 am at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest.
