James Patrick McFadden, loving husband and father, age 77, passed away June 27, 2012. Survived by his wife of 55 years, M. Kathleen; children James (Dianne), Ann (Royal), Thomas, Peter (Leehwa), Mary, Maureen, Joseph (Melody), and Daniel (Nora); and 5 grandchildren. James was predeceased by children Michael, Gerald, and Margaret. James is also survived by brother Tom.

James was born February 24, 1935 in Sandusky, OH, youngest of three sons. He and childhood sweetheart M. Kathleen both attended Sandusky High School. James received an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College and a BS in accounting from Kent State University. A proud patriot and veteran of the US Army, James retired in Laguna Woods after 30 years as an auditor with TRW, Inc. A lifelong Catholic and devoted husband and father, James will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00pm on Friday, July 6 at O’Connor Mortuary, Laguna Hills. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00am on Saturday, July 7 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Laguna Woods, followed by burial at Ascension Cemetery, Lake Forest.
