Jim (known to his many friends as “Jimmy” was born on July 17, 1959 in Los Angeles, CA. Often bored in school, he gravitated toward the trades early on, developing skills as a roofer, plumber and all-around handyman. He truly loved his work and loved his customers even more, often working for less than going wages to ensure he could provide his services within everyone’s means. He was respected for his hard work, workmanship, and honesty.

Among his friends, Jim never passed up an opportunity to make people laugh. He also never passed up an opportunity to help someone in need; particularly those struggling with addiction. He often sacrificed his own needs to help those around him. He was blessed with an incredible circle of brothers and sisters in Christ within his church community of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Tustin, where he resided over the last twenty years.

Lastly, Jim loved his family and never missed an opportunity for a family get-together, especially when it involved bantering with the kids. His mom and dad preceded him to Heaven in 2011 and 2022 and he cared for them both lovingly in their final years. He is survived by two younger brothers, Tim and Steve, his sister, Cindy, as well as his beloved daughter, Jeanne and two grandchildren, Alex and Allison.

His presence will be greatly missed.
