James Francis Boyle
(1934 – 2017)

Jim was the seventh child born on May 14, 1934 to Bernie and Agnes Boyle. He was educated at Loyola High School and played two years on the Varsity Basketball Team. Upon graduation in 1952, he earned a basketball scholarship to attend Loyola University, Los Angeles. Jim managed to juggle the difficult task of being a college student athlete and received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Loyola University in 1956. One month later on June 30, 1956, he married his beautiful wife Jean Patrice McGuire. After three short months, Uncle Sam called him to duty. From 1956 – 1958, Jim and Jean lived in Augusta, Georgia where Jim served as a Private in the U.S. Army. Upon returning back to California, he joined the Western Farms family where he had a lifetime career and raised six beautiful children always living by the motto: “Look yourself in the mirror.”

Jim rejoined his beautiful wife, Jean on May 21, 2017. He is survived by his six children, nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church at 2046 Mar Vista Drive in Newport Beach, California. Viewing will be at 9:00am and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am.
