James H. Engelerdt, 86 years old of San Juan Capistrano, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 29, 2014 surrounded by his family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Mission Viejo on Monday, August 4th, 2014 at 10:30am with a burial immediately following at Holy Sepulcher.

James was born in New York City. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Engelerdt and his son, Thomas Engelerdt. He is survived by his children, Anne Salcedo, Jim Engelerdt, Jeanne Rouk, Cathlin Guarino, Peter Engelerdt and John Engelerdt and his 12 grandchildren.
