Obituary

With fallen hearts, we announce that Jacob Deylon Remsing-McKelvie, age 24 passed away on Friday April 2, 2021.

Beloved son of Eric & Deanna McKelvie. Loving brother of Kade, Breck and Duke.  Adored grandson of Dennis & Dee Remsing and Daniel & Karen McKelvie.

For those closest to Jacob, even just a little, have lost a compassionate soul in their lives.

His early years with family took Jacob from San Diego to Hawaii and back to his permanent home in Orange County.

At a very early age Jacob developed a love for music, the ocean and friends.  Playing the guitar daily and earning a place on stage at his local rock school highlighted his young aspirations. Learning to surf in Hawaii and sharing time with friends at concerts and shows were some of his favorite pastimes.

As Jacob got older a found interest in Art, Anime and clothing allowed him to express himself as a unique and special individual.

Always eager to help, Jacob spent time with his grandparents and had volunteered his time at an assisted living home as well as a local church to help feed the homeless.

Recently, Jacob found a new passion for investing and Economics, which sparked new interest in the working world around us.

He loved traditions and especially the Holidays. Christmas and Thanksgiving, of course, so he could eat and visit with family.  Easter was a special time as a time honored tradition of getting an overflowing basket from his Mom.

Jacob’s life was a blessing for his family and friends.  He will be loved and remembered forever.

A private memorial service will be held on April 24th.
