Obituary
Jack Thomas Eagen, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 22nd on the day of his 50th wedding anniversary. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his entire family. First and foremost Jack loved Jesus Christ. He had a servant’s heart and was a prayer warrior. He was a husband, leader, geologist, grandpa, volleyball enthusiast, Bruin, jogger, skier, Korean War veteran, senior olympian, and philanthropist. He loved to memorize scripture. He is survived by his wife, 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 granddogs. The graveside service will take place on Friday, June 29th at El Toro Memorial Park at 10:00am. A memorial celebration will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, June 30th at Mission Hills Church in Mission Viejo. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society 1-800-ACS-2345 and Rescue African Children www.rescueafricanchildren.org.

Know that you are in my heart. Nothing makes this easier, but know that your Dad will always be in your heart and the hearts of all the others who know and love him. You will see him in your children and one day your grandchildren. He may be gone, but never forgotten.

You have always been my Uncle Jack, a man that I have always looked up to. In my eyes, you were this beautiful man with a strong belief in God, you raised your kids with integrity and morals, you loved your wife with all of your heart, and you have touched many lives with how life should be lived.

Jack will be forever in my heart. He was a very kind, caring, thoughtful and loving man. I am very sad that he is not here with us on earth but know he is in a better place. Lots of prayers and love to Jack’s family who he often bragged about.
