Jack Thomas Eagen, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 22nd on the day of his 50th wedding anniversary. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his entire family. First and foremost Jack loved Jesus Christ. He had a servant's heart and was a prayer warrior. He was a husband, leader, geologist, grandpa, volleyball enthusiast, Bruin, jogger, skier, Korean War veteran, senior olympian, and philanthropist. He loved to memorize scripture. He is survived by his wife, 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 granddogs. The graveside service will take place on Friday, June 29th at El Toro Memorial Park at 10:00am. A memorial celebration will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, June 30th at Mission Hills Church in Mission Viejo. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society 1-800-ACS-2345 and Rescue African Children www.rescueafricanchildren.org.
