    Dear Nancy,
Too many fond memories to list, but one of my favorites has to be when we rented the houseboat on Lake Shasta with you and Jack. We all laughed so much during that adventure. I remember when we were pulling out of the port for the first time and Jack walked away from the helm because it looked like we were going to hit the mountain behind us as we backed out. I was literally laughing so hard that I had to lie down on the boat floor…and that was just the first day! A lot of funny things happened during that week and it didn’t take long for everyone on the lake to address Jack as “Captain Jack.” Russ and I will always treasure the many memories of being together with both of you. May your own memories of Jack give you comfort and joy for many years to come.
    Love you,
    Jill

    Jack,
Thank you for the over 40 years you were there for my Mom. You two shared a life that not many can claim. Thank you also for everything you have done for me and my family. Part of the man I am today is because of you Jack. Your wisdom, compassion and sense of humor are qualities I always admired about you. God Bless You Jack.

    Love,

    Mom,
I am awfully sorry. I know how close you both were as partners. Please accept my deepest condolences on this sorrowful loss. Let the Lord bless you and his family Myrna and Lisa, Ed, Robert and Don and all of his grand and great grand children with the strength to overcome the pain. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We will all miss him a lot. May his soul Rest In Peace. I have many memories to list, but one of my favorites has to be Christmas time when we would go to visit you guys. Jack was always a perfect gentleman and also a great cook. He always insisted on cooking a big breakfast for us. His specialty was pancakes. I remember when Dylan and grandpa talked on the phone about what kind of syrup to use. That was always fun to hear because they would joke and laugh. We will miss him so much.

    Love you,
    Sandra, Ed, Daniel and Dylan
