Jack B. Huntsinger passed on to be with the Lord Jesus his Savior, January 21, 2017.

Beloved husband, of 61 years, of Mary Jo, who proceeded him into Paradise in 2014.

Proud Long Beach native, born 1928.  Graduate of Jordan High School, Long Beach City College (AA), University of California, Santa Barbara (BS), and University of Southern California (MS). U.S. Navy veteran of Korean War. Church deacon, elder, and Sunday school teacher. Administrator and department head, City of Lakewood, 1956-1992. Active CIF high school football and basketball referee, and baseball umpire and head of football official’s association, until age 74. In retirement, Sunday school teacher and world traveler.

Jack is survived by three sons, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. ‘We will miss you, Grandpa, until we see you again.’

Funeral service with be Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 am, Grace Brethren Church Long Beach, 3601 Linden Ave., Long Beach, CA 90807.
