  1. I will always remember Jack for his happy, good nature. He was so full of life and such a fun person. I enjoyed visiting with him and Trixie. It was if their honeymoon had never ended. They shared laughter and loved to tease each other. Their marriage was the best I have ever encountered. He was a very happy guy with a wonderful sense of humor. I am so happy that I was able to know him during the time I lived across the way from him in San Juan Capistrano, California. He will be greatly missed.

  2. Good friends of my parentsboth deceased I have known Jack and Trixie since I was six. Their house in Costa Mesa around the corner was a second home to me growing up. The Christmas’s and parties with the Vass’s and Bailey’s will always be remembered. Even though living on the other side of the worldNew Zealand Jack’s email skills have kept us in touch over the years. He will truly be missed. Andre, Maxine,Rita & Scott Edney

  3. I will always remember your visits to my friend Gwen, Joy & Rick. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of your dear husband Jack. I have wonderful memories of both of you, you were both very dear people. I will miss you very much.

  4. As I start reading through each person’s memories and thoughts about Uncle Jack my first thought is that this must be written by one of my sisters because this describes exactly what Uncle Jack meant to me. But they’re not from my sisters, they’re from people I’ve never met with the exception of a few, people who loved Uncle Jack as much as I did and people who were as touched by this warm, loving, kind man as much as I was. It made me feel really good and really sad at the same time. Uncle Jack was truly a wonderful man.

Tuesday nights and Christmases at Uncle Jack’s and Auntie Trixie’s were the best and I always wished we lived closer so we could spend more time with them. The minute you walked into their home you felt the warmth and welcome. Uncle Jack/Lucky Pierre always let us three girls hang out for a while in the back room when the men went to play pool and darts. We enjoyed it so much, Uncle Jack made us laugh.

I love you and miss you Uncle Jack. Auntie Trixie, I love you. You two were wonderful together.

    Love,

Debra one of the Beeghley girls

  5. John Ayling says:

This was a gray day and a sad and sorrowful happening.
Jack was my old friend and fellow comrade in the British Army. He was the best of the old time Englishmen, honorable, kind, decent and a real family man. Jack was the Jack in the Union Jack. When called by his country he did his duty and served on active service in Palestine for which he received two campaign medals .
Jack put himself out for others; he came the day my wife Margaret was dying. They say that old soldiers never die they just fade away. Jack you will never die in our hearts, you will always be alive, remembered and missed.
Jack I am glad I knew you. I will meet up with you at a later time.
    John Ayling
