  1. This is another sad loss to all our family, just having lost our eldest sister seven weeks ago! We six children now three left had a good life growing up in Detroit, Mich. with Christian parents who prayed daily for each one of us. Isabel was very much at peace with God’s will and she was ready to Graduate into his presence. She will be missed dearly, but it is wonderful to know we who are saved will be reunited once again with our loved ones who have gone before. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-14
    Lovingly, Barbara & Jean Irvin

  2. Isabel was one of my five sisters. I can honestly say she was always my favorite second eldest sister. Izzy was an encourager. Being her younger brother she always took an interest in my school work. The Lionel chemistry set, hidden away until Christmas in our front hall closet, will always be remembered as one of my very most treasured Christmas gifts. I must have been all of ten years old at the time. Izzy had strong convictions and beliefs.Having committed her life to her Lord Jesus Christ at an early age, she was strong in her faith and loved the Scriptures. Her relationship to her Lord was central in her life. Both she and John were faithful in sharing their faith with “the boys,” Dale and Doug. Those of us who knew and loved my sister will miss her greatly. But this will only be for a little while. As we were reminded this Easter season, just as Christ arose from the dead we too which believe shall be raised and united with Him and loved ones gone on before. Another family reunion to which we can look forward!

  3. Dale Cabell says:

My mom was a both a mother and a best friend. She was very unselfish and did everything she could for me. I cannot even begin to describe how much I will miss her.

    Dale

  4. Doug says:

I am thankful my mom had a long life with those she loved. We will all truely miss my mom and will keep her memory in our hearts forever.

  5. Our love, prayers & sympathy are with the entire Cabell & Sherrard families today. Please know that although we cannot be with you in person, we are with you in spirit and close friendship.

My 48 years of “King’s Couples” friendship with Isabelle and John bring so many fond memories, as well as living on the same street in Glendale when Dale & Doug were born.

May Christ’s peace be with you all!

    Love, Dorothy & Fred Lanphier
