Obituary

Irwin Shone, known to many as the best Grandad ever, was a man with the utmost integrity that embodied the word kindness. His soft blue eyes captivated a conversation that was often softly spoken. He loved his family dearly and was a servant to both his country and wife, a true gentleman till the very end. He will be immensely missed for his subtle humor and loving spirit. We will continue to enjoy that spirit as he watches down from heaven on us all.

We love you, Grandad!

Uncle Irv was one of the greatest men I have had the pleasure of knowing and am proud to share his blood. He always had a great outlook on life, filled with life lessons and wonderful stories. He was also an absolute badass and I always enjoyed seeing him. I know he is in a better place and back with his brothers, my Grandpa and Uncle. I hope it is many many years before I see him again, but know a day will come where we will be reunited for another good time and a laugh. I love you Uncle Irv.

  3. Irwin was the best Hand and Foot partner a girl could ask for. I always loved to hear him talk about his and Rita’s old days on the East Coast and going to Cooney Island. You will be sorely missed Irwin, but know you are watching us from above.
