o Age 90 of Irvine, CA
o Monday, October 23th, 2017
o Went to be with Jesus after a life well lived. She passed peacefully holding her daughter Margaret’s hand in the hospital after some health issues for the past months.

o Landshut, Germany
o Fathers Name : Mathias Harlander, Germany
o Mother’s maiden name : Karolona Judenhofer, Germany
o Siblings – Herta, Alfons, Elisbeth and Matina
o Married to William Estes
o Irma spent her childhood and early years in Landshut Germany and as a young woman spent some time in England serving as a nanny. She met and married William Estes and moved to Texas where she spent the remainder of her married life. She was an amazing baker and was famous for her cheesecake. She later moved to Irvine to be with her daughter and her husband for the last 25 years of her retirement. She loved to crochet, watch soap operas and game shows and do laundry. She was a wonderful daughter wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She inspired a love for dogs that has passed down to her future generations.

o Survived by Daughter Margaret Covello and her Husband Robert Covello of Irvine, CA
♣ Grandchild Anne-Marie Older and her Husband Leigh Older of Peoria, AZ
♣ Great-grandchildren – Hannah & Wesley Older of Peoria AZ
♣ She has many nieces, nephews and close relatives in both Germany and the US.

♣ Siblings – Herta and Alfons
o In lieu of memorial service there is a private family event planned to celebrate her life by those closest to her.

My sister and I always loved it when Aunt Irma came to visit us “back home” in the Old World. She was so loving and there was room for the two of us on her lap when we were little. She ‘ll be missed!
