Ionel “Johnny” Tanasescu's Obituary
Ionel (Johnny) Tanasescu of Laguna Niguel passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was born on April 22, 1933 in Galati, Romania. He graduated from the Romanian Military Academy and was an officer in the Romanian Army in the field of radar systems. Johnny will be fondly remembered by his wife Lucretia, daughter Mihaela, son Gabriel, son-in-law Steve, daughter-in-law Zita, and grandson Mihai. He will also be remembered by the Turay family.
The ceremony will be held at 11:30 on Saturday, December 22, at the Ascension Cemetery, 24754 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
