One of the funniest memories I have with you is when you were marrying Dad on the Queen Mary. All of us kids were there standing up with you and Dad and I was a nervous 15 year old. My bouquet was shaking in my hands. Amy noticed and we started giggling. You noticed and you too started giggling. All three of us were stifling a giggle and the Captain hands you tissues thinking we were all crying–causing us to giggle even more!! A good belly laugh indeed! Wishing you ultimate peace, Susan

Hilda will truly be missed. She was one of the best/kindest/honest person to know, she was my friend.. She had such a GREAT sense of humor. I will always remember our Latasia Days, and after a glass of wine or two, Hilda would walk around banging her pots and pans and singing we would all be laughing and do the same. She had such the sense of humor! My thoughts and prayers go out to you Charlie and Amy, and the rest of your family. I wish I could be there this week… but I will be thinking of you all. Debbie

I will always remember Hilda as very kind and giving. When we met during a project for the American Cancer Society, she was the first to volunteer when something needed to be done. And Charlie was right there with her, offering his help and support. Both of you have been great friends, especially in times of need. Hilda will be missed by many. Rich and I wish you, Charlie, the comfort of the many good memories of this sweet lady, your wife.
