On August 12 ^th, , Henry passed away peacefully in his sleep.  Henry was a kind and generous soul with an imagination that ran wild.  An incredible combination that touched so many.

Henry was an early riser, up at 5:30, cherishing a quiet house and his time alone to frame the day.  Henry developed a passion for art which he exercised most days.  Often drawing characters from life, comics, and his imagination, he wanted to become a comic book designer.

Henry was brave and trusting.  He fought and managed his heart disease with courage and grace.  Henry didn't have time for sympathy or concern, he always lived in the moment and got the most from each day.  Our many thanks to the compassionate and competent doctors, nurses, and administrators at Children's Hospital Los Angeles who cared for him.

Our gratitude to all that loved and cared for him.   Especially, the faculty and students at Mission Basilica School, Monarch Bay Montessori Academy, and The Parish School at St. Edwards.  Henry was ready to conquer Dana Hills High School this fall as an incoming freshman.

Henry is survived by his loving Mother Shanna, Father Steve, and Brothers Ben and Will.   His loving grandparents Jane and John Crabtree and Tom and Jerre (Schattmaier) Karl.   His loving Godparents Mark and Janis Paulson.  And a large and loving extended family that kept him in their thoughts and prayers each day.

A Rosay/Vigil prayer service in memory of Henry will be held on Monday, August 21, 1:30pm, at the Mission Basilica.  It will be directly followed with a Mass at 2:00pm. 31520 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675.
