  1. Dear John and family:Your beautiful spouse and mother was an example for all of us.The saying of the Lord that by our suffering we are healed and live more abundantly was lived out in her life. Her memory revives in us values that often are obscured or tarnished. Her charm and loving face reinforced for us her own love and care for others. She will always be with us. With our loving hearts and thoughts…..Joan and Eugene and family.

  3. Mr Rooney and family:
I could not agree more with the comment in Mrs. Rooney’s obituary, that she was loved by all who knew her. I consider myself very fortunate to have been “adopted” by the Rooney’s for the 2 1/2 years I was stationed in Southern California. You both, and your entire family, provided me a home away from home, and etched in my heart wonderful memories of life in Laguna Hills in the mid 70’s. I read your touching note to Mrs. Rooney, and while she is truely with a better caregiver, I am sure the loss is still profound. I send along my prayers, and condolences, and will visit our chapel here during the funeral mass at St. Nicolas.

    Sincerely, Charlie Dorman

We are so very sorry for the loss of your mother. What a great daughter you have been. Grieve in your own time, and know that you are in our thoughts.
    Love,
