Obituary

In Loving Memory
Helen M. Csillik
June 21, 1929 ~ November 16, 2013

Wife of John T. Csillik for 52 years and mother of Judith Stout, passed away on the morning of November 16, 2013 due to complications after an angiogram. Her heart was too weak to see her through the recovery, but her heart was full of love for everyone she knew.

She was born in Budapest, Hungary where she lived with her family. She survived the 1956 uprising against Soviet forces and sought refuge in a Yugoslavian camp where she met John. A year later, they immigrated to America and married in 1961.

They lived their lives in New Jersey for more than 50 years, until moving to southern California two years ago to be close to their daughter.

Things she loved; enjoying her patio view with her morning coffee; reading books, laughing, shopping, flowers, Laguna Beach, her glass of wine each evening, being with her family, talking to her friends, new and old.

She’ll be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Mom. We love you always and all ways.

Dear Mom, I miss you soooo much! It was so painful to watch you go. I wish there was something I could have done.

It’s raining today. I imagine they are your tears from heaven. I love you! You’ll always be close in my heart. Prayers for you, Mom. Hugs, your loving daughter, Juditka

My heart breaks for you, Judy. It was wonderful to see how close you were and how much you and your mom loved each other. It was obvious how proud she was of you and how her eyes shined when she looked at you. You were loving friends as well as mother and daughter. What a wonderful memory you will always have of her love; it lives on forever. Debbie Riley

  4. We will always remember HELEN (ICA) as a Wonderful, Loving, Kind, true Lady, and a personal lifetime friend. Being part of her family, we spent a lot of great times together. She was always fun loving and generous in all her ways. A great Mother and Wife. Ica will be greatly missed by all of us.

We are thinking of you all as you celebrate Helen (Ica neni’s) life. Ica was my mom’s (Eta Pfeifer) best friend. Eta’s heart is heavy as she was not able to go out to CA to visit Ica due to her own deteriorating health. We wish we could be there with you all and sending our love, prayers and thoughts.
    Love,

    Diann, Steve, Eta neni

(George and Kim send their love and prayers as well.)
