Obituary

In Loving Memory
Helen M. Csillik
June 21, 1929 ~ November 16, 2013

Wife of John T. Csillik for 52 years and mother of Judith Stout, passed away on the morning of November 16, 2013 due to complications after an angiogram. Her heart was too weak to see her through the recovery, but her heart was full of love for everyone she knew.

She was born in Budapest, Hungary where she lived with her family. She survived the 1956 uprising against Soviet forces and sought refuge in a Yugoslavian camp where she met John. A year later, they immigrated to America and married in 1961.

They lived their lives in New Jersey for more than 50 years, until moving to southern California two years ago to be close to their daughter.

Things she loved; enjoying her patio view with her morning coffee; reading books, laughing, shopping, flowers, Laguna Beach, her glass of wine each evening, being with her family, talking to her friends, new and old.

She’ll be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Mom. We love you always and all ways.

John, Judy and Rick – Carol and I express our sincere condolences from here on Wayside Lane. We will always remember Helen as a sweet and caring lady. She was always so nice and welcoming. I used to love it when she would yell at Angie (little fur-ball dog) in Hungarian! That was the only Bi lingual dog I ever met. Rest assured she is looking down on us from above, smiling. Rest in peace Helen, Much Love – Rob and Carol Klein
