Helen Mary Chase passed away peacefully on May 21, 2017 at the age of 98. Helen, born and raised in Seneca, New York, came to California at the age of 26. Her family settled in Los Angeles where she became an Executive Secretary at Union Bank.

Upon retirement, she moved to Laguna Woods, CA where she spent time volunteering with several organizations. Of these, the most special to Helen’s heart were the Library in Laguna Woods and her church, Center for Spiritual Living. Her favorite pastimes were reading and walking.

Helen was generous and donated greatly to Saddleback Hospital in Laguna Hills. She participated in the UCI 90+ study about normal brain aging.

A memorial will be held Sunday, July 16, 12 noon, after the morning services at the Center for Spiritual Living, Clubhouse 3, Laguna Woods.
