Heidi Schroeder

On Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021, Heidi Schroeder, Wife, Mother, Omi (Grandmother), Great Grandmother, and friend passed away at the age of 84.

Heidi Brigitte Eggert was born June 20th, 1937, in Germany. After immigrating to Canada from Germany she married Gunter Schroeder in 1960. Together and with their family they immigrated to Downey, California. They eventually settled in Placentia, CA in 1974 where they raised their two children. Gunter and Heidi moved to Rancho Mission Viejo in 2014 where they both retired.

She had a successful career in accounting in Palos Verdes where she worked for over 30 years. She was passionate about running and keeping her body active. One of her favorite activities was her daily walk with her dog, Moritz. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a proud member of the Orange County Women’s Republican Group.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Schroeder-Muno, son-in-law Mike Muno, son Richard Schroeder, daughter-in-law Lori Schroeder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gunter Schroeder. She was the loving Omi to Chelsea Parrott, Cheyne Parrott, Tanner Schroeder, Tiffany Hazen, Sarah Reatz, and Ryan Muno. She was also a Great Grandmother to Jane Wolff.

 

A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 1600 Corporate Dr, Ladera Ranch, CA 92694 on Tuesday, December 21st, 2021 at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow at the Ranch House in Rancho Mission Viejo, 35 Ascenso Ave, Rancho Mission Viejo, CA 92694 at 12:30 PM.

  1. We remember Heidi fondly as a neighbor & friend at Holy Trinity. She was
    always friendly & bright. We saw her often walking her dog.
    She was a kind, gracious lady.
    Rest in Peace Heidi.
