Obituary

Hassan Moghaddam Amin passed away peacefully on February 13, 2021 at age 73 in Orange County, California. He was sitting in his backyard overlooking the garden he loved and attended to daily.

Hassan, also known by many close to him as “Moghaddam,” was born in Tehran, Iran to Efat and Hossein Moghaddam Amin. He was the second eldest child of eight siblings. As a child, he was driven and consistently wanted more in life. As a teen, he worked hard and found a passion for swimming, ballroom dancing, music, poetry and fashion. With his innate work ethic, by the age of 24, he started his own printing company that within a few short years became one of the most successful and well known printing houses in Iran at that time. He then married Zari in 1976 and had three daughters and a son. In 1986 he moved his family to the United States and that was one of his proudest life accomplishments.

Hassan is survived by his wife Zari, his children Mona, Mahshid, Mohsen and Mandana and his grandchildren Leila, Yasi, Kian, Kiana and two additional grandsons that will be born in the Spring this year.

The funeral service will be held at El Toro Memorial Park located at 25751 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA 92630 on March 7, 2021 from 10:30AM to Noon. His family will be present to welcome loved ones with social distancing and Covid safe practices. Due to Covid we ask for those that join in person to spread out and wear masks at all times as the park has strict guidelines and capacity.
