Harry Rosenberg, 88, of Lake Forest CA, passed away on April 1, 2023 of natural causes.

Harry was born in 1935 to Isadore and Sophie Rosenberg in Easton, PA.  He was the middle sibling to older sister, Pauline (Pearl), and younger brother, Saul.

He graduated from Easton High School in 1952 and received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Lafayette College in 1956.  After college, Harry went on to have a successful career in Aerospace and in the Semiconductor Industry with several companies including Hughes Aircraft, Aeronautical Radio Inc, Rockwell and finally, retiring from Boeing.

While in college, Harry met Phyllis McCann, and they were married in December 1957.  They had three wonderful daughters:  Maureen, Elaine, and Nancy.

Harry and Phyllis loved to travel and planned several trips a year with their family, including visits to many of the states and numerous summer vacations at Laguna Beach.  Harry was outgoing and would often start conversations with other people by commenting on what they were eating.  He enjoyed music, sports, reading, and technology, and constantly encouraged his daughters to do well in school and get a college degree.  Harry knew the value of hard work and wanted his daughters to be able to achieve even more than he did.

After he retired, Harry and Phyllis continued to travel through Europe, and along the coast of California.  When they weren’t traveling, they were spending time with their grandkids attending school events, music recitals, baseball games, horseback riding lessons or just chauffeuring them around.

Harry is survived by his wife of 65 years, Phyllis, and his three daughters, Maureen (John) Brongo, Elaine (Doug) Kist and Nancy Rosenberg, as well as his four grandchildren.  He will be interred at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park in Costa Mesa, CA.
