Obituary

Harbahar “Kikoo” Dunichand Tejwani passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 19th, 2012. He was a 27 year resident of Laguna Hills, California. Kikoo was 63 years old.

Kikoo was born on September 1, 1948 in Poona, India to Dunichand and Moar (Chandanani) Tejwani. He was the youngest of 8 siblings. He graduated from the University of Poona with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He came to the United States in 1972 and started working at B. Braun, formerly McGaw, as a technician in 1973. He rose from the ranks within B. Braun to serve his company as a Corporate Vice President. He enjoyed his job and made many life long friends at B. Braun. Kikoo also served on the Advisory Board for Medical Product Development at UC Irvine, where he was able to share his passion for emerging technologies.

Kikoo was a devoted husband to his wife, Leilani, and a doting father to his daughters, Karishma and Jasmine. He enjoyed spending vacations with his family, and all of their leisurely travels. He loved to play tennis and be active. He spent time playing cards with family and friends, and was very much known as ‘the life of the party’. Kikoo was full of genuine energy and enjoyed making people laugh. He was light-hearted, and always upbeat.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Leilani, and his daughters, Karishma and Jasmine. He is also survived by his brothers, Arjan (Pushpa) Tejwani, Bhagwan (Ruby) Tejwani, and Jagdish (Judy) Tejwani; as well as his sisters, Indru Shahani, Laju Tejwani, and Pushpa Shahani; his cousin, Prakash (Pushpa) Chandanani; his aunt, Gunvanti Chandanani, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 11am at Saddleback Church, Tent #3 in Lake Forest. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Smile Train in his honor, www.smiletrain.org, where a page has been set up in his memory.

I only found out today that Kikoo had passed. I will always remember his infectious laugh and our after-work tennis matches.
