Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guadalupe Fletes, an integral part of our community, on November 4, 2023, at the tender age of 14. Born on November 13, 2008, in California, Guadalupe brought joy, laughter, and a radiant spirit into the lives she touched.
Guadalupe was a remarkable young girl who radiated a kind and compassionate nature.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Guadalupe had a deep love for her family. She shared a special bond with her parents, Elsa Fuentes and Samuel Fletes, as well as her younger brother Eric Fletes. Guadalupe’s warm and caring nature extended beyond her immediate family, connecting her with people from all walks of life and leaving an indelible impact on those fortunate enough to know her.
“Lupita” as known by many, was well surrounded by loved ones before saying goodbye. Lupita was able to live up to her dream quinceañera and live the fullest of it. She was and will always be loved by many. She wore her crown with happiness and joy for her big day and danced with everyone alongside her wonderful parents. She left with happiness, and we hope now she can feel freedom and peace. Lupita always had a welcoming smile and contagious laugh and that’s how we will remember her. The most lovable soul with purest heart.
In honor of Guadalupe’s life and the love she brought into the world, funeral arrangements have been made. A Funeral Mass will be held at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano on November 18, 2023, at 12:00 pm. Prior to the Mass, a Vigil will take place on November 17, 2023, at 4:30 pm, allowing friends, family, and the community to pay their respects.
Following the funeral services, Guadalupe will be laid to rest in Camino a Santa Cruz de Quelitan, preserving her memory in a place of tranquility and serenity.
During these difficult times, our thoughts and condolences go out to Guadalupe’s mother Elsa Fuentes, her father Samuel Fletes, her brother Eric Fletes, and her extended family. May they find solace and strength in the loving memories they shared with Guadalupe.
The loss of Guadalupe has left a void in our hearts, but her memory will forever live on as a beacon of light and inspiration. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, kind heart, and unwavering spirit. She touched the lives of many and left an everlasting imprint on the world around her.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Guadalupe Fletes, as we remember and honor the beautiful soul that touched our lives.
