IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory Leon
Louviaux
April 16, 1938 – July 29, 2024
GREGORY LEON LOUVIAUX
April 16, 1938 – July 29, 2024
Gregory Leon Louviaux passed away peacefully at home at the age of 86 on July 29, 2024 in Corona, CA after a two-year battle with ALS, which he fought with courage, dignity, and faith. He is survived by his children Maria, Matthew, Melissa (James), and Mark (Katie), eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren with two more on the way, sister Helena, and his partner, Margaret, of almost 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Mary.
He lived a full life having served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, privately practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in California, and gave back during his semi-retired years by working on-staff with the VA before he fully retired. By the end of his career, he had brought countless of little lives into the world. During this time he raised a family and instilled the value of a good education, hard work, and a foundation for Jesus in his children. He enjoyed music from reggae to opera and discussing books, current events, medicine, and whatever makes the world go 'round. He had a quirky, satirical sense of humor. We will miss his signature "hello". His interests included traveling, sailing, bocce ball, and serving his community by volunteering with various charities and organizations, such as Meals on Wheels and Knights of Columbus in Orange County, California.
Gregory's funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Church at 29102 Crown Valley Pkwy in Laguna Niguel.
