Grace Lucille Long-Jones-Templin, 100, of Mission Viejo, California, died on September 1, 2014 at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo. She was born on June 29, 1914 in Mill Creek, Indiana to Francis Long and Mary Heatherton.

Grace raised three children from her first husband Rodney Jones: Thomas (deceased), Patricia (deceased), and Michael. She had six grandchildren Andrew (deceased), Laura, Deborah, Lisa, Matthew, and Michael; two great grandchildren, McKinley and Madelyn.

She was a dental hygienist for much of her life having graduated from Marquette University in 1935. Her great passion was cards, especially bridge including duplicate bridge. She played bridge even at the age of 100. She lived in many states including Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Texas, New York, and Connecticut.

To her friends and family she was known to be very kind, have a positive outlook, and liked being with people.

Services will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois on Saturday, September 6, 2014.
