  1. Grace was a wonderful mentor to me and to many students. She wasn’t just an instructor, she was more like a an older sibling that showed a lot of care and guidance. God bless her soul.

  2. I always admire how Grace raised three outstanding children while pursuing her own career. She has been an inspiration to me when I struggle between my two kids and my career. She will continue to be my hero. With deepest sympathy.

I cannot express the shock and sadness that I feel in knowing that Grace has left. I have been thinking much of her and of you in recent months. How I miss her council and her wisdom as I also miss the same friendship with you. I hope that you will make the trip to Hammond one day which I hoped you both would make to visit us and allow us to revisit our friendship. I will always consider you and Grace my lifelong friends. I never told her that my only granddaughter who is now 3 years old is named Grace.

  5. Grace touched my life in so many ways both personally as a dear friend and professionally as my colleague. I still have many of the gifts from her that she so thoughtfully chose and took the time to explain their symbolism and meaning. May you feel God’s embrace as you mourn her loss. — Nancy Gautier
