Obituary

Gloria Stolt, 86, of Laguna Hills, CA passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 1, 2013. She is lovingly survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nephews and many friends.

Gloria was born December 7, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York to Nicola and Maria Mescia and was the youngest of 8 children. She was first generation Italian and moved out to California in 1957 where she met her late husband Casper “Cappy” Stolt of 25 years. Gloria was an active member of St. Kilian Catholic Church in Mission Viejo and the Italian American Federation. She had a passion for animals and babies and enjoyed cooking family recipes and loved ice cream. She has been a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend to all and will be greatly missed.

A service will be held on September 10th at 1PM at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills with the interment at El Toro Memorial Park in Lake Forest. A reception for family and friends will follow.

    My Aunt Gloria loved children and dogs. We had many a laugh together talking about our pets. As the years went on we developed a very special and close relationship and I’ll miss her greatly. I know she’ll be happy to be with her family again! Much love to her for being there for me so many times.
