Gloria Holguin, 77, of Rancho Santa Margarita, California, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family in her final moments. Born in Los Angeles, Gloria was a graduate of Banning High School and later earned her Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.

Gloria was a strong, spirited woman who lived life to the fullest. She was feisty, Stubborn, independent, busy and full of personality. She was still young at heart and had so many plans, places she wanted to go and things she wanted to experience. Her unexpected passing left her family with the heartbreaking feeling that there simply wasn't enough time.

She loved her family and enjoyed making the most of life. Gloria loved tennis, traveling, dancing, going to the casino and spending time at the Elks Club. She was an active bowler and enjoyed being part of her bowling league. She also looked forward to the Tamale Festival, the Greek Festival, and any opportunity to get out, have fun and enjoy herself.

Gloria had a special love for her dog, Sniffy, who was a cherished part of her life. Sniffy passed away just one day before Gloria. We hope they are together again, keeping each other company and causing a little trouble along the way.

Gloria is survived by her daughters, Irene Holguin, and Christina Hernandez; her grandchildren Calista, Noah, Melanie and Serena; her great-grandchildren, Vincent and Naomi; and her son-in-law, Jairo De Lira and daughter-in-law, Ruby Martinez.

Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all those who loved her. Though we wish we had more time with her, we will carry her with us in the memories, stories and moments we shared.
