Glenna was born on March 12 ^th , 1936, and grew up in the tiny town of Mio, Michigan, moving to Southern California in the 1950s, where she and her husband Ray raised their large, “yours, mine, and ours” family, with the help of Glenna’s beloved mother, Phylena. In preparation for Ray’s retirement, she moved along with their daughters and mother to the mountain town of Oakhurst in Northern California in 1980, where she and Ray were to eventually build their dream home on their own beautiful seventeen acres of forest. When Ray sadly passed away in 2017, Glenna moved back to Southern California to be near to her family.

Glenna was loving mother to Steven, Kevin, Erin, and Laurelei; stepmother to Leigh, Kelly, and John; beloved grandmother to Danielle, Michael, Trevor, Logan, Nick, Jenny, Jerad, Lindsey, Alex, and Tobias; great-grandmother to Patrick, Ryan, Johnathan, Michael, Devin, Ayla, and Ari; and fond aunt to many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Phylena (nee Lawton) Allen, and her siblings, Monna, Clayton, and Merlyn. Glenna danced to the beat of her own drum, enjoying many hobbies and experiences along the way, from ice skating, to flying a plane, to wielding a chainsaw, and loved her animals, especially cats, above all. She also enjoyed traveling both within the United States and internationally, visiting Austria, France, Peru, England, Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand and Wales throughout the years.

She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
