  1. Glenn had the kindest heart. He really was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was like a father to me and I will miss him dearly.

  2. Guy, I am retired Captain Patrick Stevens, USMC. As a newly minted warrant officer back in 1970, Glenn was a mentor to me at the 6th CIT, El Toro. Over the ensuing years we were able to have memorable moments visiting. I will miss his presense and the occassional talk we had via phone. My warm regards to you and the family.

    Respectfully,

    Patrick

  3. Glenn-Bo:

I’m keeping so many great memories-
full of laughter, traveling together, conversations spanning everything imaginable,
    and an unforgettable camradarie.
You made a difference- and that’s the best epitaph possible.

    Love,
    Mar-bo

Gabby, I recall with great fondness our discussions of you arriving as a 17 year-old on Guadalcanal in 1943, after the invasion but still during the fighting. And seven years later you were at Koto-ri in Korea, with Chesty’s 1st Marines. More than 20 years later you were my strong right arm as my team chief, advising me on subteam deployments back into Vietnam and Thailand, and your advice always turned out to be right.
You were and will remain one of the great legends and characters of the Marine Corps CI community. I know you’re organizing a party of old friends in Heaven right now, and doing it with your usual good nature and happy disposition. We all miss you, buddy. Semper Fidelis, Sam Moyer

  5. For years, Gabby would entertain various Team gatherings with his expertise in hypnotism. I’m sure he’s dazzeling the angels with his performances now. We’ll miss him.
