   My condolences to Gina Castillo’s family and all her relatives for her untimely passage from us. I met her over 15 years ago as employees of DENSO and always found her to be happy and engaging. Even back then, she spoke of how she loved scuba diving, so she passed from us doing something she loved.

   Her DENSO group was recently moved from Long Beach back to the San Diego area where I currently work, so I got the chance to meet her again after many years. She was the same happy, engaging person I knew from before, and of course she had the diving.

   Now at DENSO, as I pass by her unoccupied desk on the way to mine, she has me engaged again, but this time thinking about how fleeting life is, the need to do things you enjoy, and to be happy. In this way, for us all, she is still here.

   I had the pleasure of working with Gina for a number of years. She brought such a positive attitude to any engagement despite how technically or commercially challenging. She will be greatly missed by the business community.
