Jerry Rocha
September 4, 1977 – June 3, 2026
Jerry Rocha left this world on June 3, 2026, after a five-year battle with stage 4 colorectal cancer so legendary it deserves recognition in the halls of Valhalla, a mention in the Jedi Archives, and its own chapter in the history books of Hyrule. If you got any of those references, you already knew Jerry.
A stand-up comedian, podcast host, retro gaming streamer, toy hunter, comic con enthusiast, epically fun uncle and proud self-proclaimed nerd, Jerry spent his life doing what he loved most — making people laugh and making people feel seen. He appeared on Conan and Comedy Central, released a Netflix one-hour special and multiple comedy albums, and co-hosted The Ramble with his best friend and brother Eddie Pence. He had no ego, which anyone in comedy will tell you is genuinely rare.
Through every challenge life threw at him, Jerry faced it with humor, heart, and an unshakeable positivity that lifted everyone around him. He and his partner Andrea stood hand in hand through it all — together they were unstoppable.
Jerry is survived by his fiancée Andrea Lassen, much extended family, and countless friends whose lives were brighter for knowing him.
Rest easy, Jerry. May your spirit live on in all of us.
