Obituary

Gerald Sherman Dalton (Jerry), passed on to his next great adventure on December 20, 2017.  He was 80 years old.

Born in 1936, in Payson, UT, Jerry enjoyed a big life.  He grew up in La Canada, CA with his 4 brothers and sisters (Roger, Bruce, Sharon and Marilyn).  He loved music and performed through high school, college and while serving in the Army.

Jerry fell in love with the ocean while living in Malibu and enjoyed many sailing adventures throughout his life.  He loved his friends, whether from his fraternity at USC, business partners and acquaintances or from the Urantia Society.  He was passionate about everything he did and openly shared his intellect and knowledge.

Jerry was a seeker of truth and spent much of his life building a relationship with God, his Heavenly Father.  He believed that, like Jesus, we are responsible for all of our choices and that free-will is one of God’s greatest gifts.

Jerry is survived by his son, Jeffrey Gerald Dalton, Jeff’s wife and step children, his brothers, sisters and their families.
