GEORGE P. ‘MITCH’ MITCHELL

George ‘Mitch’ Mitchell, born April 30, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, lost his valiant fight against emphysema on Sunday, June 1, 2008. Devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, caring and loyal friend, Mitch is survived by his wife Phyllis with whom he just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. Mitch will be missed by many including his son Michael, daughter Carrie Montserrat and her husband Martin and grandchildren Brett and Triana, and ex-wife Patty. He led his life with dignity, was a kind and honest man with a wonderful sense of humor. He has an extended family of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews that he adored and they cherished him in return. During his lifetime, Mitch had several careers including that of being an award winning sales manager in the incentive industry from which he retired after forty years. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at El Toro Memorial Park, Lake Forest, CA at 11:00 a.m.
