George Michael Nadeau

George M. Nadeau, 49, died unexpectedly September 19th, 2018, in Escondido, CA.  He was born May 27th, 1969, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a resident of Lake Forest for more than 30 years.

George graduated from El Toro High School, Class of 1987.  Following graduation, he attended USC where he was a member of the Trojan Marching Band.  He then transferred to SUNY at Purchase where he graduated in 1992 Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Fine Arts.  In November 1996, he was presented with the prestigious Princess Grace Award by Isabella Rossellini.

George received his Master’s degree in Photographic Arts & Sciences from RIT in 1997.  His career path continued in the graphic arts field.  He most recently was employed as Manager of Product Development of trading cards at Cryptozoic Entertainment.

George is survived by his mother Hue (Tran) Nadeau; twin sister Jacqueline Brown and her husband Patrick; older sister, Jeanne Braun, her husband, Tony and their three daughters, Haley, Audrey and Leslie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 28that Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church with burial at El Toro Memorial Park.  A reception will follow at Santiago de Compostela Church.

  1. The best part about coming to the Philly Non-Sports Card Show was seeing George and getting the low-down about Outlander cards. Everyone knows when you walk into that show, George seemed to always peer up at you with a big smile. It was his way of inviting you over to stop by, say hello, and talk endlessly about what he loved most! Over the years, we became good friends. I will miss you, your excitement, and our “Outlander drooling”. Philly Non-Sports will never be the same…God bless you, George! Condolences to your family and friends.
