Born March 11, 1927 in Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 in San Juan Capistrano, California of Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He worked for City of Oceanside as a Deputy City Manager for 35 years.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Beatrice Field; loving daughter, Sandra Sodaberg; loving sons, Stephan Rohn, Timothy Field, Daniel Field and Thomas Field; beloved sister, Mary Lou Elliot, and five adoring grandchildren. His memory will be cherished always, and he will be missed deeply.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 ~ 1:30 P.M. at O'Connor Laguna Hills Mortuary, Laguna Hills, California.
