Geneal Rose Redd, loving mother, grandmother and sister, died Saturday the 9th of December at her assisted living residence in Escondido, California.

Born December 1st in 1940 in Nampa, Idaho, Geneal attended BYU prior to receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at California State Fullerton in 1980. She went on to a long career as a registered nurse at several hospitals in southern California until her retirement.

Family and friends were Geneal's delight, with her taking joy in family vacation adventures and a good game of scrabble. She was also an avid gardener, naturally graceful at the piano, and held a special place in her heart for grandkids.

Geneal is survived by children Mark Redd, Brett Redd, Cheryl Zuniga. She will also be remembered by brothers Bob and Archie, as well as her eight grandchildren.

O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hill, CA has been entrusted with arrangements.
