My deepest feelings of sympathy go out to the entire family. Freddie and I(us)
grew up together in Pittsburgh,Troy Hill. We played hockey together on court at
our Alma Mater ,North Catholic High. We sang together as “The Chapelaires”
recording and doing shows all over the Tri-State area. Many warm memories came out
of this. I actually have a 11X14 blow-up picture on my wall infront of me all the time
of The Chapelaires. We spent a few nights enjoying the ‘school’ life at Gannon also.
I regret the lost times we could have shared in these last few years. Fred will always
be a ‘bud’ to me and I will miss him .He and all of you I never met will be in my thoughts and prayers.
    Sincerely

I was very sad to hear that my old friend Fred has passed. Fred and I sang together with the “Chapelaires”in the late 50’s and I have many wonderful memories of Fred. I have pictures of Fred from his singing days that I would be glad to send to you if you would like them.
I met his very young children when they were living in New Jersey and I knew how much he loved them.
I pray that he is with our Lord and that he did not suffer.
