   Fredda Neuman Schlacter and I were first cousins. Her mother and my mother were sisters. I was shocked today to learn of her passing. We spoke to each other about 6 months ago. She assured me she was fine. The last few months both my husband Dan and myself have been very ill. Fredda lived in California and we are in PA. When we were young she was like the sister I never had. I loved her deeply and am so heartbroken to get this news. Dan and I send our deepest condolences to her husband, Mike and their children.
