   We’re sorry to hear of the passing of your mother/grandmother. My mom is Martha Orme Calvert and Freda was one of her oldest friends. They often spoke on the phone and shared memories of their nearly 60 year friendship, husbands and families, and square dancing friends. She was a remarkable, independent woman and will be missed.

   We just learned about the passing of Freda. She and Ernie was a big part of our childhood. We share many good memories with them when we were younger. Our parents were good friends with Freda and Ernie for many years. Our mother Mary Tikker considered Freda one of her closest and longest friend. They had a very close friendship until our mother passed away in 2010. We still tried to keep in contact with Freda though cards and an occasional phone call.
   We are very sorry for your loss and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Freda was a wonderful lady

   Just happened upon this site and the news of Fredas passing. So sorry to hear this. Leon and Marion Barker were my parents, both gone now as well. Such wonderful memories of time spent at Freda and Ernies in Venice. Great people. Freda and I spoke just a few years back. Blessings to all of her family.
