Frank Robert Serna was born 19 October 1935 in Hernandez, New Mexico and died 5 August 2019 in Costa Mesa, California.

He married first Shirley Carlos 25 May 1974 in Orange County, California and second Linda Grelck 16 December 1994 also in Orange County.

He is survived by his second wife Linda, two sons, Kiko and Andreas, and three grandchildren, Maizy, Avery, and Tanin.  He is also survived by family in New Mexico” brothers, Manuel (wife Alice Salazar), Donald (wife Melitta Schwefel), Rudolfo (wife Anna Cruz), and Richard (wife Patricia Quintana), and sister Clara Davis (husband Halzie).  His siblings, Rosalia, Jackie ((Jacob) & wife Patricia Hardsock), and Theresa Pleasant pre-deceased him.

Frank graduated from St. Michael’s High School in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1955 and joined the Air Force.  He was honorably discharged in 1959.  He then graduated from Northrop Institute of Technology and spent his entire career in aerospace, even working on the Apollo Program, before retiring from Northrop Grumman 1 January 1995.

Frank was very active in his parish St. Vincent de Paul, Huntington Beach, California and enjoyed his family, volunteering and traveling.  He is being buried at Santa Fe National Cemetery in New Mexico.
