Obituary

Latham, Frances Partridge of Mission Viejo CA, born March 10, 1936, in Los Angeles, Ca and passed away on January 17, 2009, in Mission Viejo. Frances was a devoted wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister and friend. After a long illness and courageous battle, Frances went peacefully from the loving arms of her family to the open arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Frances enjoyed a beautiful upbringing, growing up in LA at 343 West 119th Street and hanging out, playing with the neighborhood kids. She graduated from George Washington High School in Los Angeles. As a student, she gained popularity by attending all of the school dances and joining several various clubs. Most of all, she loved participating as a cheerleader with her closest friends. After graduation, Frances went to work for Union Oil. At Union Oil, she got her very own fifteen minutes of fame by being honored with the task of gracing the cover of Union Oil Magazine.

In her early twenties, she started her family and gave birth to her two daughters, Susan Kari and Lisa Diane. Six years later, she decided to move from Woodland Hills to Westminster, Orange County. She remained there, on Cornwall Avenue, to raise her family for the next thirty years. After three decades, Frances embarked on a new exciting time in her life as she ventured to move further south to Mission Viejo. She discovered, Palmia, a lovely senior living community, where she was able to enjoy all of the luxuries that life has to offer for the duration of her blessed life.

First and foremost, Frances dedicated herself and life to being a loving, caring, humorous, thoughtful and selfless women who always put her attention on the ones that she loved.
