Frances Sarah Palmer, 72, was born in Meadville PA, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends in Laguna Woods on February 8, 2017. Frances was known as “Fran” or “Flora” by friends and family. Fran leaves behind her four sons, Scott, Todd, Robbie and Ricky, her brothers Tony and Bob, as well as three granddaughters and five grandsons. She was predeceased by her elder sister, Pat.

Fran was previously employed by Willis Allen Real Estate, and was a passionate supporter of the San Diego Opera, and local operas and theaters in Coronado, San Diego, and in Laguna Woods. She was deeply involved in the Italian American Club and the Laguna Woods Clown Alley. Fran was an example of compassion and courage to everyone who knew her, and she encouraged and saw the best in everyone.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 16, at 10:00am at the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, followed by a lunch reception for family and friends at Ciao Pasta Trattoria, 31661 Camino Capistrano Ste. 201, San Juan Capistrano.
