Johnson, Frances Jane of Costa Mesa, CA, passed away on January 4, 2007. Born May 17, 1921 in Hermansville, Michigan to the late Peter and Ermida Floriano, she graduated from the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, Minnesota in June 1943 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education. A World War II Veteran, she served as a nurse in the United States Navy Nurse Corps from 1944 to1953. Honorably discharged, she met and married her husband, Captain Theodore R. Johnson, Jr. USN Ret in 1952 in San Diego. Besides her husband, Frances Johnson is survived by her five children: Eugenie Johnson of Seattle, WA, Theodore R. Johnson III of Costa Mesa, CA, Brian Johnson of Costa Mesa, CA, Michelle Johnson of Irvine, CA, Monique Johnson of Manhattan Beach, CA; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her two sisters Anne Floriano of Sheboygan, WI and Mrs. Lois Bennett of Spring Lake, MI. She was dearly loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, January 11, 2007 ~ 1 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Costa Mesa, CA.

An Interment will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 ~ 3:00 P.M. at Arlington National Cemetery near Washington, D.C.
