Obituary
Frances Elizabeth ‘Fran’ Booth passed away on March 18, 2015. She is survived by her son Tim and his wife Andrea of Dunedin, FL, and her grandson Gavin Booth of Austin, TX.
She was born March 10, 1927 in Los Angeles, CA. She studied at UCLA and Long Beach State. She made her career as a mother 1st, and teacher working within the Saddleback Elementary School District until she retired. Fran was actively involved for many years with Saddleback Valley Assistance League, The Covenant House, and Laura’s House. She was a faithful member of her PEO alliance. She so loved her weekly bridge groups, watching Fox News hoping the Republican Party would divide and conquer. Most importantly she loved her Catholic Faith and church, St. Kilian’s.
A blessing and visitation remembrance will be held on Sunday March 22, 2015 at O’Connor’s Mortuary in Laguna Hills, at 4:00 pm, and a Mass will be held at St. Kilian’s Church, Mission Viejo, on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 10:30 am.

Here’s to a wonderful mother-in law who’s common bond we shared was her son! We also had a couple vices in common……wine and a good martini or two! We once traveled to the south together visiting Georgia and Souh Carolina. Fran taught me so much about Antebellum Homes, plantations and Civil War History. To this day I can answer just about any history question on Jeopardy because of Fran! We had a great trip which I will never forget! She especially loved the Christmas Season decorating her home and buying as many pink poinsettias that could be found! I thank you Fran for raising such a kind, loving son who would not be 1/2 the man he is today had it not been for your guidance,generosity and patience throughout his life. RIP. My love to you Fran…until we meet again. Andrea

May you rest in peace dearest Fran . Your passion for life was only surpassed by your your love of it . Your Son Tim is my brother in law and a fine son you have raised! I will always treasure the fond memories I hold dearly of our get togethers at your lovely home and of course at the Ritz lunches. A broad smile comes to me now as I remember the animated stories and laughs we all shared time and again. Rest comfortably now and know you have changed many lives in a positive way. God bless. Fran’s bridge friends were blessed to have her with us on Monday, March 9, to play bridge and have lunch together. We all sang Happy Birthday and she won the deuce prize that day! What a way to leave a special memory with us, Fran! I will always remember your love of all things pink, flowers, your never-failing No-Trump skills, and your strength and determination to keep seeing your friends throughout your illness. May there be plenty of bridge games, flowers, and red wine in heaven!!
